I never thought I'd hear the names "Roddy Piper" or "Iron Sheik" at a Mountain Goats show, but then, I never thought my favourite lyricist of all time, the Russian lit- and Marxist-reading John Darnielle would have been a fan of professional wrestling - one who knew what the hell he was talking about, no less.
