Virginia's jangly dream-poppers Eternal Summers cover "A Salty Salute," one of my favourite Guided by Voices songs from the 1995 lo-fi classic Alien Lanes (Matador Records), one of my favourite albums of all time. And, as you'll hear in this playlist, "A Salty Salute" is one of my favourite album-openers too.
