Some Albums I Have To Download For the Cover Art Alone.

Bobby's self-titled album is one of them. Unfortunately, the cover art is the only appealing thing about Bobby.

This Is Like the Best Cover Art Ever.

Well, not really. Not even close, actually. But it's still really damned cool, mainly because it's Andrew Wilkes Krier (could I have expected any less from him?). The "Party All Goddamn Night" EP was released exclusively in Japan in March of this year. I haven't listened to it yet, but I definitely will soon, because I may be seeing him at the Rickshaw Theatre tonight. The show promises to be another sweaty, beer-fuelled mosh-fest of joy and, knowing Andrew's inclinations towards motivational speaking, inspiration. Party hard!

Today in "WTF Album Covers"

Candy Walls single by electronic/synth-pop artist Trust.

Cover-Shot: Space Ghost - Space Ghost EP

Tagged as beats, down-tempo, electronic and experimental. Every bit as boring as I'd expected, but obviously, I dig the cover art.

Cool Cover Art

Shirts vs. Skins by Graham Wright. Decent indie pop. That is all.

Cool Cover

No urge to listen to post-A Crow Left of the Murder Incubus, but I do like this album cover.

There's Only One Elf Power Song I Like,

But this is a pretty sweet album cover. Their new self-titled album comes out September 14.
